
Try something New
It is important as we grow older to step out of our comfort zone and try new things. Whether it be at something new on the menu, a new food, a new sport or a new exercise. I have always enjoyed running not for races, but just to clear my mind. This year at the start of the year I ran my first ever half marathon. It was extremely difficult especially because I was really sick in December, but with the support of my loving husband and kids I was able to do it. It pushed my emotions and my fears aside. I ran, it my of not been the fastest, definitely no records were set, but it was something amazing, that I learned that it is a good idea to try something new.

Girl, you didn’t do a 10k. A 10k is 6 miles. You ran 13.1 freakin’ miles!!!!! That’s 21.08 kilometers. Fix that typo and show off cuz you earned the bragging rights!
