Today, was the first day with the sun shining all day. It officially feels like summer is finally here! This makes me so happy. I even made it to the beach with other moms. During the evening when hubby got home from work, it was still warm out and without much planning we headed out for dinner. We decided to take advantage of the kids being away with my parents.
So we went downtown and savored a good dinner and had a good long walk on the beach. We are blessed to live in such close proximity to the beach. Immediately after we started our walk on the beach we realized just in front of us, time for a dolphin swimming and jumping in and out of the waves. As we stood there it was hard to believe the perfect timing, and just a few minutes later the sun began to set. Again the timing was perfect. All I could do was take in the fresh air and the beautiful sunset view.
We stood and enjoyed the evening, as we watched other families and kids run around and play in the waves. Although neither one of us said it, I can assure you that we both missed our boys. Yet, we both talk about how grateful we are that the boys are building memories with their grandparents. Overall, I am so glad to see the sun and even more excited for evening strolls with my husband.
